Blog Writing #6 - 5 words
“It was a dark night in the midst of the hundred acre forest nestled in the rolling hills of Knottingham Forest. Through the dim light shone forth by the moon, who normally refused to reflect the sun’s light, was casting ominous shadows down upon the ground. It was a dreary night, the kind that Poe would write about, and the kind that our hero would pine for. Leaping from tree to tree, our hero was able to acquire massive amounts of liquid assets, which are also known as gold coins. But wait, what’s that, in the distance, it seems to be our tap dancing villain, the Ballet quartet of Knottingham.”
“Hold on moms… time out… this is one of them fairytales right?”
“Um, duh, of course it is Cleatus.”
“Now I’ve read many a fairytales that occupy many-a-good pages in ‘dem ‘dare books and such, and I ain’t never heard of no Ballet Quartet or nothing of no Knottingham.”
“Cleatus, you be quite you hear me, first of all this is my fairytale and I is gonna tell it hows I wants to, and ‘sides that, you’s is tellin’ a big ole fat lie. You can’t read Cleatus, and now sit back and listen ‘fo moma gives you a floggin’ you ain’t never gonna forgets!”
“Yes mother.”
“So there’s this tap dancin’ quartet from Knottingham and they’re robbing the town blind, but our hero can’t do a thing to stop them. Racking his brain for hours he comes up with the perfect solution. Realizing how much the quartet likes to tap dance, he decides the best way to stop the villain is to….”
“Cleatus, is you sleepin?!”
“Cleatus?!?!”
“CLEATUS!!!!!!!!!”
