Second life part one

Okay, so I finally got Second Life to work...

It's a fun game, and it's neat to be able to interact with people all over the place. But i have to say that i'm kind of dissapointed in the way the game lags, and how complicated it was to start up. Before i played my first time, I had to download 4 different versions of the game. It definatly seems like there is new version I have to download everytime i sign on. But I guess it's expected, and it is part of the learning experience.

Soon enough technology will dominate the world, and who knows, maybe one day everything will be done in a Virtual world. Regardless, i'm looking forward to the class because if nothing else, its a change from the duldrums of learning in the classroom. That is what collage is about right? New experiences?

And, if all else fails, this will definatly help me to keep up w/ emails!!!! Haha, jk... Anyway, untill next time... peace
