'Cause tonight the headphones will deliver...

How do you fix something when you don't know how it broke? How do you heal something that's not really there? How do you tell the person you cared about the most you want them back? How do you make something work when you both still have feelings? and last of all.... Why is love so hard?

I mean people say that if you love something let it go, and if it comes back, then it's yours... they're full of shit... If you love something then why not keep it? If you let it go, you might lose it. If you really love something you should fight tooth and nail for it, you should never give it up, right?

The truth is that all relationships go through crap, the ones that fail, the ones that make it. However, the difference is that the good ones, the ones that make it, work through it, they see the relationship as something worth while, and they know how they feel.

Just a few thoughts to ponder...

Life

Life is amazing, that is what these past few weeks have taught me. I know I haven’t been keeping up with these as often as I should, and it has really affected me. I’ve fallen away from the things I love, and mostly just been in a grumpy pissy mood.

Killian told us last semester that writing everyday is one of the most therapeutic things you can do. I couldn’t agree more. Every time I write, I’m offering up my problems, hopes, and fears to a higher power. Writing gives me a feeling of empowerment, a special feeling comes over me when I write, much like we talked about on Tuesday. When I write, I just feel weight being lifted off of my shoulder. It’s a ridiculously simple process that can take as little as 3 minutes a day, but people don’t understand how therapeutic it really can be.

Whilst on the subject of Tuesday night, I went to Ash Wednesday Church service last night with one of my best friends. We sat in the car and talked for 20 minutes before mass started, and I was finally able to release all of these feelings I had been storing up for the last 6 weeks. Needless to say I walked into that church and immediately felt God’s precence. It was as if he had his hand on my shoulder, telling me everything was going to be alright. I have always believed that you can feel thing if your open to it. I experienced that on Wednesday night.

Everything has been so stressing for the last month and a half, and finally it all came out. How do you deal with thing? I run from them, pretend they don’t exist, until they boil up and spill over, and then let the fireworks begin! Well the fire works began yesterday.

I’ll leave ya’all with one final thought, you really don’t know what you had until it’s gone, but once it’s gone, you have to move on because it’s not healthy to linger around… I’m done with this… peace

Life

Okay, so the interview this week in Second Life basically accomplished what this class is about. We debated life, whether it is in reality or in a virtual world, it doesn't matter. Everything we do is a part of our life. If you decide to sleep, that is part of your life. If you decide to go play a sport, that is your life. Even participating in virtual world is a part of your real life.

It was asked on Tuesday, "what is life?" Well you could publish a book on that, in fact just about everyone and their brother has, but it does make you think. Life is really just a string of memories. After all, what makes us who we are? Our Personality? Well technically our personality is how we act because of past experiences. So in essence, life is truly what we remember from our past.

The example of the gold fish works best. They have a 30 second life span, because all they can do is remember/pay attention for 30 seconds at a time. If humans could only remember 30 seconds at a time, then our life span would be shortened to 30 seconds because we would never know that anytyhing existed previous to those 30 seconds. It's all really confusing, but if you sit down and think, and ponder on it, then you realize just how interesting this can be.

And there is my Aristotle-esq attempt at figuring out life! haha

Roleplaying

Okay, so in the last class meeting we had an interesting trip to some RP place... um... not the most amusing, what was less amusing was how difficult it was to get acustom to all that stuff, such as reading rules that didn't show up and what not.

What I did think was pretty cool was the fact that you can find jobs to earn money. What is really interesting is the fact that the government now wants to start taxing money you in a PVE. Thank you Uncle Sam.

I'm looking forward to having our first meeting/interview, so i'll see you all there!
